Cookie Policy

The short version

Athlos sets only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure.
No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
Venue maps come from Google Maps and load only if you allow them, because Google sets its own cookies.

1.What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage works similarly. This policy is part of our Privacy Policy and explains the ones Athlos uses.

Essential cookies are needed for the Service to work, so they don't need your consent; without them you can't stay signed in. We use them only for the purposes above.

3.Google Maps, live video and sign-in providers

Google Maps: venue and tournament pages can show an embedded map. It loads only after you allow Google Maps (on the banner, below, or with the “Show map” button). Once it loads, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address under Google's Privacy Policy. “Get directions” opens Google Maps itself.
Live video: live streams on Athlos are Facebook or YouTube videos shown inside the page. The player loads only after you tap to play it; then Meta or Google may set cookies and receive your IP address under their own policies.
Sign in with Google, Facebook or Apple: if you choose one, you sign in on their site, which uses its own cookies under their policies. Athlos receives only what we list in the Privacy Policy.
Payments: if card or e-wallet checkout is enabled, you pay on PayMongo's page, which uses its own cookies.

4.What we don't use

No advertising cookies, no analytics or “pixel” trackers (such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel), no cross-site tracking, and we never sell cookie data.

5.Your choices

This browser: no choice yet

Switching to essential only stops maps loading from now on. To remove cookies Google already set, clear them in your browser settings.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you won't be able to stay signed in.

6.Changes and contact
